I have a West Wight Potter 15 and looking for sailing pals and perhaps buy in partners in sailing/working on this jewel. I am too busy to sail all the time and I hate to see my gal sitting around (usully on her trailer at my place in SLO.) Here is my craigslist ad.   7-16-17

I race throughout the state in Hobie 18 and Hobie 20 one design regattas. We are racing at least once a month and am occasionally scrambling for crew. This is a small fast boat, you will get wet, and probably need a wetsuit. I have life jackets and harnesses if needed. We also organize occasional fun sails. Let me know if you're interested. 4-23-14

My wife and I have little experience outside of sailing lessons at Morro Bay Yacht Club 18 months ago, but we are quick learners willing to do any job aboard a boat. We are both in our late 30's, she's an educator and he's a meter reader. We are available weekends as enthusiastic amateurs with a strong desire to learn all we can!

Long in tooth for foredeck, but trim, helming and ballasting in my abilities. Spinnaker experienced.  Just enjoy sailing cruising or racing.

ASA 104 completed, and some experience on lake Michigan as rail meat on J boats. Also captained a endeavour 34 from Florida w/ one other crew member to Cancun. It's been about three years since I've been out on the water, and the itch is back, real bad. Handy with electronics and marine wiring as well... heck, willing to be a sea anchor if that's what it takes to get back out there!

I have little experience (crewed for my Dad on a Lido 14 as a child, windsurfed in SF Bay in my 30's and 40's), but I'm a quick learner, am available weekdays or weekends, and am happy to help with maintenance / repairs as well.

I've been sailing and racing, mostly multihulls, since 1983. I have extensive lake sailing experience (NM) and some ocean races (2 Newport to Ensenada races). I was a US Sailing instructor for small keelboats/multihulls in the mid-90s. Our last boat was a Corsair F-31 trimaran. We've been boat-less since 2007 and have been doing bareboat charters since then. Personality wise, I sail on a pretty even keel.

I am looking to sail anytime.  I have three years experience as crew on Second Wind, a Hunter 39, at Santa Barbara's weekly "Wet Wednesdays". Now I have moved to San Luis Obispo and would like to crew again or train to crew for next season. Also, I have had crew experience on a Geary 18.

Would love to crew on a sailboat. I haven't been on a boat in 20 years and want to get my feet wet.  Not literally but if necessary then I will definitely get feet wet. Grew up on a 30 foot sailboat.  Sailed from San Diego to Cabo. And have spent many Winters in the Sea of Cortez and am comfortable on the ocean. Would love to join one of the teams racing for the Zongo Race Day.

I have been sailing in Ventura on a J24 for the last few months doing Wet Wednesday races.  We have 5 crew members, and I am usually 2nd man on deck.   In addition my parents have a Leopard 48 catamaran that I spent 2 months on.  I am moving from Ventura to San Luis Obispo within the next month and would like to continue sailing.  I am very eager to learn more and would love to get involved!

I am a young professional new to the Central coast. I used to take part in Wet Wednesday races on a race / cruise 30' boat in Long Beach. Quick races lasting around 2 hours. I also took part in Catalina Races: from Newport Beach to Catalina Island back and forth on a weekend.

I didn't have much experience so I was mostly grinding or pulling sheets.Hit me up if you need a hand for a race or simply to sail out.

I've owned my own boat (Fantasia35) for 15 years but, unfortunately, the boat is in the Bay Area. However, I have no problem being a willing and compliant crewmember.  I have day and weekend sailed in Hawaii and have one long ocean voyage (from Hawaii to Port Townsend, WA.)  I aced the ASA Basic Keel Boat exam and am anxious to continue sailing. I am looking for any opportunity to be crew or help out on any ship in any type of water.  Although I have no experience I am hard working and driven to gain sailing experience.  I have been around the water my whole life and see sailing as the next step to enjoying the ocean even more.  (1/28/12)

As any true sailor will know, it's hard standing on the shore looking at sails on the horizon.  I recently sold my 30 foot Lancer moored in Oxnard. I live in Grover Beach now and long to be out on the ocean. I grew up sailing in Canada and enjoyed cruising the coast here. Any chance to crew would make this sailors heart beat again.  (4-1-12)

I've only been on a sail boat a few times in my life.  I have the taste for the sea but no experience in doing so.  I'm looking for a position where I might gain experience as any entry level desired position.  I'm quick to learn, and quick on my feet.

I'm new to the area. I've completed the Basic Keelboat (ASA 101) through Bareboat Chartering (ASA 104) standards in Monterey Bay. I've crewed on bareboat catamarans in Belize, Tahiti and BVI. I'm in good physical shape and am a reasonably quick learner. I'm interested in continuing to learn/practice and in meeting new people. My schedule is very flexible.

I just relocated to the area for work and am looking for any opportunity to crew and/or help with race committee at SLYC.  I've been actively sailing since 2005 when I completed Basic Keelboat (ASA 101) certification, have sailed/raced J/80s, Flying Scots, and S2s in Maryland, Texas, and Nebraska, and crewed/raced on an X-40 and J/120 in the Chesapeake Bay and on a bareboat 48'monohull and 36' catamaran in the BVI
