As you can see, Avila Beach is very easy to get to. About eight miles south of San Luis Obispo or 4 miles north of Pismo Beach you'll see signs to both Avila Beach and Port San Luis. It's a short, but very pretty drive:

From the North:

- Take the Avila Beach Dr exit              0.2 mi
- Turn right onto Avila Beach Dr           2.7 mi
- Turn left onto San Miguel St               0.2 mi
- Proceed to shoreline (Front St)
- Yacht club is at the foot of Avila pier

From the South:

- Take the Avila Beach Drive exit       0.3 mi
- Keep Left at the fork, follow signs      2.8 mi
    for Avila Beach/Port San Luis and
    merge onto Avila Beach Dr
- Turn left onto San Miguel St            0.2 mi
- Proceed to shoreline (Front St)
- Yacht club is at the foot of Avila pier
