By Sea:
Using NOAA Chart # 18022_1, San Diego to San Francisco Bay, or the larger scale NOAA Chart # 18700, Point Conception to Point Sur, make your way along the coast to San Luis Obispo Bay. The San Luis Yacht Club is on the most easterly of three piers just off the town of Avila Beach. An anchorage is located just off of the clubhouse between the piers. Click to see chart of the bay. Note! Chart is not intended for navigation. The SLYC also has guest and seasonal moorings available. Contact the Port Captain.
By Land:
From the North:
Take U.S. Highway 101 or State Highway 1 to San Luis Obispo. Continue South on Freeway approx. 7 miles. Take San Luis Bay Drive. Follow the signs to Avila Beach.
From the South:
Take U.S. Highway 101 or State Highway 1 to Pismo Beach. Continue North on Freeway approx. 4 miles. Take Avila Beach turn off. Follow the signs to Avila Beach.
